  • it is headquartered in the Bengaluru city of INDIA.
  • It's primary task is to use Space technology and it's applications to various national tasks.
  • The Father of Indian Space Programme was Vikram Sarabai. 
  • Indian Space programme was driven by Vikram sarabai.

  • Antrix Corporation – Marketing Base of ISRO, Located at Bengaluru.

  • Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Located at Ahmedabad.

  • National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), Gadanki, Located at Andhra pradesh.
  • North-Eastern Space Applications Centre(NE-SAC), Located at Umiam.
  • Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL) ,Located at Mohali.
  • Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Located at Thiruvananthapuram.

    3) Future Missions Of ISRO :

    • April 2020 (Not exact i.e. Estimated): Aditya-L1 Mission.
    • Late 2020's: Chandrayaan-3 Mission.
    • December 2021/January 2022: Gaganyaan Mission.
    • Year 2022-2023: Mangalyaan-2 (The Mars Orbiter Mission-2)
    • Year 2023-2025: Shukrayaan Mission to Venus.

     4) Success Rate of ISRO :

     The success rate is defined as the Probability of Mission Accomplishment . And the success rate of ISRO is 52%.

    5) Completed Missions of ISRO :

    The ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organisation) Carried out 97 Spacecraft Missions, 69 Launch Missions.

    Some of completed missions of ISRO are:

    G-SAT , EMISAT , CHANDRAYAAN , CHANDRAYAAN - 2 etc.
